Passed away peacefully at Cassellholme with his family by his side on Dec. 10 2015.  He was 84 years old. Dearly loved husband for 56 years of Sybil Cangiano (nee McKee).Together and with the help of the entire family,  they faced the challenges of Alzheimer’s. Loving father of John (Holly), Ann Guy (Richard) and Keith (Carolyn).  Cherished “Gramps” of Brian  Guy (Sheena), Jenna Guy, Jack, Kyla, Joe, Erin and Nick Cangiano. Murray was born in North Bay and attended  Scollard Hall where he excelled in sports,  football and hockey being his favorites. Murray was a well known and highly respected Insurance Broker, co-owner and partner of Cangiano and Dunn Insurance Brokers. Murray’s family was his biggest passion. He took great joy introducing his children to many sports, spent many winter weekends on the slopes and actively coached baseball.  Summers were spent at the family cottage on Trout Lake where he enjoyed the company of visiting friends and family. Later, winters were spent in Florida with endless hours golfing and watching spring training baseball.  Murray especially loved when his children and grandchildren came south to visit, which they did often. Murray was a faithful member of the Pro Cathedral and a member of the Knights of Columbus 3rd degree.  He had a good life with many friends.  He will be dearly missed. Special thanks to the caring nursing staff at North Bay and District General Hospital and the wonderful  staff at Cassellholme. Family will be receiving visitors at the McGuinty Funeral Home (North Bay) on Monday December 14 from 2  to  4  and  7 to 9 pm. Funeral mass will be celebrated at the Pro Cathedral of the Assumption on Tuesday December 15, at 10am. On line condolences can be made at www.mcguintyfuneralhome.com.
