Patricia Daisy Campbell (nee Felice), 75, of North Bay, passed away November 26, 2023.

In her final days, Pat was surrounded by her loved ones who all gathered to celebrate her 75th Birthday on November 23 and spent her final days by her side, which is exactly the send off that she would have wanted for her final days on Earth.

Pat was born to the late Pansy and Derrick Campbell on November 23, 1948. She was predeceased by her eldest sister, Linda (Lloyd) Cartwright, and surviving siblings Mary (Paul) Dowling, Annette (Bob) Chan and Michael (Mary Ann) Campbell. This family was undeniably one of the tightest families that grew up in Guelph Ontario.

It is with great sadness that we had to say goodbye to our strong, beautiful Mother. Dementia may have taken you away from us in your final years but, never took your kindness away. You were loved by so many people. Her children, Elizabeth Felice (Kevin), Christopher Felice (Erin) and Joseph Felice (Kelli) along with their father, Wayne Felice, would like to thank everyone from Algonquin Nursing Home including Dr. Leonard Gushe. They really went over and above to care for not only Pat but, our family, no matter how many of us there were at times. Their love, care and compassion were northing short of amazing and we can’t thank them enough from the bottom of our hearts. Algonquin Nursing Home in Mattawa will always hold a special place in our hearts.

Grandma Pat unconditionally loved each and everyone of her grandchildren, Briana Felice (Bella), MacKenzie Van Horn (Raven), Benjamin Felice, Katlyn Van Horn, Sarah and Michaela Felice and her great grandchildren Grayson and Lincoln. She was also loved by Malayna and Parker Walter. She will also be missed by her many nieces, nephews and extended family.

Pat worked at Widdifield Secondary School (Near North District School Board) from 1986 to 2012, 26 years. She took great pride working as an Educational Assistant and for most of her career caring for children with physical and mental disabilities. In her retirement, she volunteered at the Callander Food Bank and drove cars throughout the Province for Kia North Bay, which she absolutely loved. Pat’s family and friends would also tell you that she was a very talented seamstress, photo perfectionist, creator of greeting cards for every occasion and scrapbook extraordinaire amongst other things. She will be missed in so many ways.

As per Pat’s wishes, cremation has taken place and a Celebration of her Life will be held in the Spring after which, she will be laid to rest in Guelph, Ontario with her beloved mother.

Be free, Mom, Pat, Patti, Grandma, Aunty Pat, and watch over all of us, you are already so missed. We love you.

Online condolences can be made at www.martynfh.com. If you wish to make a monetary donation, please contact Elizabeth Felice ([email protected]), as the family is going to be making a very special donation to Algonquin Nursing Home in Patricia’s name.
