CAMPBELL (nee Belmore), Juanita

Posted

“Success in life is not measured by our financial gains but by the number of friends we have.”

We sadly say goodbye to a truly successful lady Juanita Campbell (Belmore). Loving wife of the late Robert Campbell. She was extremely proud of her children Jeff (Virginia), Bruce and Sherry (Steve Weir). Her prized possessions were her grandchildren: Josh and Clint (Katie) Campbell, Shannon, Caley and Brenna Weir. Each one was her favourite.

Juanita grew up in Kirkland Lake. She complete grade 12 at the age of 14 and later worked in accounting. She involved herself in politics, the stock market and any social event occurring. Most of all playing bridge was her passion. “If you can play bridge at 85, you still have all your faculties”.

Special goodbyes to Kay W., Vera, Joan B., Hilda, Marjorie, Shirley, Kay M., Joan P., Jean and all her “lady friends”.

Juanita’s family will receive friends in the Martyn Funeral Home on Tuesday afternoon (October 31st) from 12:30 until time for the Memorial Service in the Funeral Home Chapel at 2:30 PM. Cremation with interment of ashes in the family plot at the Forest Lawn Cemetery.

Thanks to all the doctors and nurses who showed great compassion and care.

To celebrate Juanita’s love of life send pink flowers to someone you love. Donations to the Scleroderma Foundation would be gratefully acknowledged as expressions of sympathy.

“The kind of beauty I want most is the hard-to-get kind that comes from within strength, courage, dignity” Juanita was just that.
