CAMPBELL, Lila Anne

August 29, 1924 - December 15, 2006. It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Lila Anne Campbell (nee MacDougall) at Cassellholme Home for the Aged on December 15, 2006 in her 82nd year. Lila was born in Judique, Nova Scotia on August 29, 1924 to Mr. and Mrs. John (JD) and Lorena MacDougall (nee Leblanc) both deceased. Loving wife of Arthur F Campbell (deceased). Mother of Arthur (Marlene), David (fiancée Lana) and Richard (Sue). Loving sister of Angus (deceased) (Peggy), Earl (deceased) (Frances), David (Gwen), Don (Patricia, deceased) and grandmother to Jason, Ian, Sarah, Sean and Brian.



A lifelong resident of Kirkalnd Lake, Lila worked for the Kirkland and District Hospital, the French Catholic Separate School Board, and the Kirkland Lake Public Library.



There will be a memorial mass at the Pro Cathedral of the Assumption on Wednesday, December 20, 2006 at 2 p.m. Interment will follow at the Kirkland Lake Cemetery in the spring of 2007. Lila's family would sincerely like to thank all the staff of Cassellholme for their care and kindness. The family would especially like to thank the 3rd West staff at Cassellholme and Dr. Armstrong for their compassionate support. In lieu of flowers, donations would be greatly appreciated to the Cassellholme Charitable Foundation or the Town of Kirkland Lake - Teck Centennial Library.
