Passed away peacefully at the North Bay Regional Health Center on Tuesday June 21, 2022 at the age of 86.
Father of Marc (Paula) and Lucie (Gaetan). Grandfather of Eric and Anik (Jordan). Survived by his siblings Rudy, Marie Boucher and Thomas. Also Fern Cahill and many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his parents, Albert and Marie (Boissonneault) Cahill, and his sister Lorraine D'Aoust.
John loved his career as a Grader Operator and enjoyed hobbies such as snowmobiling, boating, model railroading and Lego engineering projects.
A funeral mass will be held at Paroisse Ste-Bernadette, Bonfield on Friday July 8, 2022 at 11:00 am. Burial will follow at Ste-Bernadette Cemetery. Condolences at the church 1 hour prior to the mass.
In lieu of flowers, donations to the North Bay Regional Health Center Palliative Care Program will be gratefully appreciated by his family.
