Liz held her “Manitou Family“ very close through her lifetime career with Manitou Conference, The United Church of Canada. In 2000, she was honoured for her outstanding service to the community, church and education in Northeastern Ontario and Northwestern Quebec by being admitted as a “Fellow of Huntington University (Honoris Causa)“.

With her precious smile and relentless passion for giving voice to the most vulnerable among us, Liz challenged and will always challenge us all to “live each day, aware, open, listening, breathing, alive!“. Ta, Lady!
