Peacefully at his home with family by his side in Powassan on Thursday, May 22, 2008 after a long battle with cancer. He was in his 56th year. Fred was the beloved husband of Debra (Small) of Powassan. He was the much loved father of Aimie Caruso (Robert) of North Bay, Laurie Shore (Steve) of North Bay and Tyler Busch of Powassan, and loving grandfather of Emma, Nathan, Devin and Ryan. He is survived by his father Burt Busch (Edna Laplante) of Powassan and was predeceased by his mother Eileen (Clarke) and his sister Beverly Kennedy. Fred was the dear brother of Randy Busch of Marathon, Barb Merriman of Bolton, Bob Busch of Cornwall, Don Busch of Saskatoon, Mike Busch of Powassan, Kim Plett of Sudbury and Ken Busch of Sudbury. The Busch family will receive visitors at the PAUL FUNERAL HOME, Powassan on Sunday, May 25, 2008 from 2:00 to 4:00 and 7:00 to 9:00 pm with a Legion Tribute at 7:00 pm. The funeral service will be conducted in the Funeral Home Chapel on Monday at 11:00 am. Interment Nipissing Cemetery.
