BRULÉ, Diane, Rita, Marie (née Chartrand)

1952-2006. The family announces with sorrow her death after a courageous battle against cancer, at the West Nipissing General Hospital, Sturgeon Falls, on Friday, September 8, 2006 at the age of 54 years. Daughter of the late Joseph and of the late Laurenza (née Levac) Chartrand. Cherished wife of Hector Brlé of Sturgeon Falls. Loving mother of Sylvie Brlé (Gaëtan Brunet) of Val Caron and of Yves (Sylvie) of Chelmsford. Sadly missed and lovingly remembered by her two grandchildren Émilie and Martin Brunet. Dear sister of George (late Eva) (Kay) of Garson, Albert (Thérèse) of Val Caron, Alma McMurray of Sturgeon Falls (late Joseph), Marie (Roland Fortin) and Léon (Claire) both of Sudbury, Denise (Wesley Stewart) of Lively, Laurier (Pauline) and Lucien (Jeanne) both of Chelmsford and Madeleine (Gilles Labelle) of Sturgeon Falls. Predeceased by her brother, Ernest (Cécile de Worthington).



Diane was a library technician at l'école Secondaire Franco-Cité for serveral years. She was a tireless volunteer in her community, involved in fund raising for cancer services at the local hospital, the Daugthers of Isabelle, the parish choir and particulary the Ontario Brain Injury Association who awarded her the honor of Volunteer of the Year.



The family will receive relatives and friends at Sacré Coeur Church, Sturgeon Falls, on Thursday, September 14, 2006 after 10:30 am. Funeral Service to follow at 11 am. In lieu of flowers, donation to the Ontario's Brain Injury Association would be appreciated. Arrangements in care of THEORET-BOURGEOIS FUNERAL HOME, Sturgeon Falls.
