Rev. Bill Broughton died peacefully, after a lengthy struggle with C.O.P.D., at North Bay Regional Health Centre on Tuesday, July 23, 2013. He was in his 76th year. Bill was the beloved husband of Winifred “Bonnie” Charlebois (nee Bridge) of Arnstein and was predeceased by his first wife Barbara-Lynne (nee Wilding). He was the much loved father of William Robert “Rob” (Lianne) of Waterdown and James M. “Jamie” of Arnstein and grandfather of Lauren Elizabeth and Eric William, both of Waterdown. Bill was a friend of Bonnie’s children Kelly and Geof Charlebois and family. He was the brother of Morris Broughton (Hazel) of St. Thomas and is survived by his sister-in-law Nancy Killam of Montreal. The family will receive visitors at St. Andrew’s United Church, Port Loring, on Tuesday, July 30, 2013 from 10:00 to 11:00 am. Rev. Lois Brown will conduct a memorial service at 11:00 am. Cremation has taken place. If desired, memorial donations to St. Andrew’s United Church or the Argyle Food Bank would be greatly appreciated.
