BRANDON, Dr. Bert

Passed away peacefully surrounded by loved ones at the Sudbury General Hospital-Laurentian Site after a brief battle with cancer on Friday, August 19, 2005 at the age of 66 years. Dear father of Krista, Samantha, Brigitte, Alain and Bert. He will be sadly missed by his five grandchildren. Also survived by his mother Edith and siblings, Maryann, Paul, Ruth, Faith, Elizabeth and Helen as well as his many nieces and nephews. Dr. Bert Brandon, the Doctor of Country, a well known chiropractor and radio host, will always be remembered for his love of gardening and fishing. The family will receive friends at HILLSIDE FUNERAL SERVICES on Sunday, August 21, from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. A celebration of his life will be held on Monday, August 22 at the First Baptist Church at 11 a.m. Donations in memory of Dr. Brandon to the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College or the North Bay Food Bank will be gratefully acknowledged by his family.
