Bottoms, Peter

(June 3, 1933 - January 15, 2014) - It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Peter Samuel Bottoms at Cassellholme in North Bay. Peter is survived by his wife Claudette of 50 years and their five daughters; Pamela, Lynda, Laura, Sarah and Andrea. Peter was a caring brother to Keith, Collin and Darrow Bottoms and the late Jim Bottoms. Grandpa will be lovingly remembered by  Alex, Katie, Avery, Emily, Taylor, Erika and Cole. Peter was born in Whitewood Saskatchewan and moved to North Bay in 1961. He was a hard working and dedicated business owner (One Hour Martinizing) for more than 30 years. Peter was a generous supporter of high school sports and drama and also gave faithfully to his local church. He will be sadly missed by friends and family. Many thanks to the staff at Cassellholme and North Bay General Hospital for the compassion and care they have provided over the last several years. In keeping with his wishes, cremation has taken place and arrangements for a spring memorial service will be made at a later date.
