BOLTZ, Gerald Frederick “Gerry”

At North Bay General Hospital, Scollard Site, on Sunday October 29, 2006. Gerald Frederick “Gerry” Boltz, beloved husband of Gail Boltz (nee Gignac) in his 80th year. Loving father of Darryl Boltz of St. Catharines, Sharryl Starmer of Streetsville, Jari-Lynn Boltz and, Darren Boltz both also of St. Catharines, and Bradley Boltz of North Bay; father in law of Trudy Boltz, Renee Boltz and John Starmer. Gerald will be lovingly remembered by his four grandchildren Matthew, Heidi, David and Jarrid. Predeceased by his parents Florence and Otto Boltz formerly of Kitchener, sister Olive Bennet, formerly of Woodstock, and brothers Reinhold, formerly of Kitchener and Wilbert formerly of Chesley.

Gerald was a fun loving man and will be missed by his many friends and colleagues in the community. A manufacturer’s representative for over 60 years he was a member of the Royal Canadian Legion and of the Commercial Traveler’s Association of Canada.

Gerry’s family will receive friends at the Martyn Funeral Home (across from city hall) on Thursday evening, November 2nd, from 7 – 9 pm. Funeral services will be held in the funeral home chapel on Friday November 3rd at 11:00 am.

In lieu of flowers and as expressions of sympathy, donations to the Canadian Cancer society or the Terry Fox Foundation would be gratefully appreciated by the family.
