Suzie died peacefully on Thursday December 20, 2007 at the Mattawa General Hospital after a very courageous and private battle surrounded by her family. Survived by her husband of 37 years Ivan Boissonneault, daughter Tanya (Leslie) Novack and son Barry (Suzie). Sadly missed by grandchildren Damien, Meaghan, Jessie and Dustin. Also missed by her parents James and Emma Doucette and siblings Claude (Irene), James (Diane), Philip (Liette), Eddie (Monique), Francoise Primard (Rejean), Lillian Lefebvre (Robert), Jocelyn Rose (Roddy) and Tammy Campbell (Winston). Fondly remembered by in-laws Raymond Villeneuve (Martha), Colleen Carriere, Rachel McCord (Art), Sylvia Graham, Priscilla Elward (Chris), Andy Boissonneault (Joan) and Diane Beauchamp. Special thanks to Dr. Mark Wilkins and the entire staff at Mattawa General Hospital for the compassionate care provided to Suzie and her family over recent months. .



Friends may call at the Mattawa Golden Age Centre today from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. The funeral mass will be held at St. Anne’s Church on Saturday at 11 am. Cremation to follow at the Forest Lawn Crematorium. Suzie’s ashes will be buried at St. Anne’s Cemetery in the spring. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Mattawa General Hospital Equipment Fund would be appreciated as expressions of sympathy.
