BOA: Helen Minerva

Passed away peacefully at Leisureworld Nursing Care Center, on Saturday,
June 14, 2008. Helen was the beloved daughter of the late George Alfred Boa
and his wife the former Lulu Gertrude Hoople, she was 93 years old. She will
be sadly missed by her second cousins Malcolm Tanner (Ann) of Carlton Place,
Rosalie Alexander (Alton) of Ottawa, Kathryn Hilder of Fredericton NB,
Deborah Mulholland (Robert) of Carleton Place, Margaret Catley-Carlson of
New York, NY USA and her close friends. Helen was a lifelong member of St.
Andrew's, she taught Sunday School there and was a member of the United
Church Women. Throughout her life she was a generous supporter of many
Christian missions. Interment has taken place in the family plot at the
Beechwood Cemetery in Ottawa. A Memorial Service for Helen will be held at
St. Andrew's United Church on Friday, June 27, at 2 p.m. In memory of Helen,
donations to the St. Andrew's United Church Buttress Fund would be
appreciated. Arrangements entrusted to the Martyn Funeral Home.
