BLAKE, Mary (nee Poirier)

Passed away peacefully at the Mattawa General Hospital on Sunday November 9th, 2003 in her 92nd year. Mary is survived by her adult children; Florence Stacey (Albert) of South River, Ted (Therese) of Mattawa, Shirley Blake of Mattawa, Emery of Toronto, Onid Soucie of Corbell, Elsie McPherson of Toronto, Victor of Killowna, British Columbia, Conrad (Micheline) of Mattawa. Sadly missed by 28 grandchildren, 34 great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren. Also survived by her sister Laurette (Conrad) Belanger of Mattawa. Predeceased by her beloved husband Michael James (M.J.) (1986), her daughter Judy and son James (2003), brother Albert and sister Beatrice. Friends and relatives may call at the T.L. Smith Funeral Home, Mattawa, on Wednesday November 12th, 2003 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm. Mass of Christian Burial will be conducted at Ste. Anne’s Church, Mattawa, on Thursday November 13th, 2003 at 11 am. Interment will take place in the family plot of the parish cemetery. Donations to the Mattawa General Hospital would be appreciated as expressions of sympathy.
