The Lemke family sadly announces Beryl’s death at the North Bay Regional Health Center on Monday April 11, 2011, at the age of 71 years. Beryl was the beloved and devoted wife of Robert “Bob” Lemke. Together they would have celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary in October. The proud and loving mother of Helen Anne of Mississauga and Karen of London, England, she will be lovingly remembered by her sister Helen Slechta (Ron) of Kalona, Iowa. Beryl was the daughter of the late Frank and Elizabeth Bedford. Beryl was the dear sister-in-law of Alice Anne and Paul Lemay of Oakville, David and Katherine Lemke of Kitchener, and Murdo and Linda MacIver of North Vancouver. Beryl was a gifted and talented quilter and an active member of Emmanuel United Church. A private family service will be held in the Martyn Funeral Home Chapel. Internment of her ashes in All Saints Mausoleum will be held on Friday, April 15, 2011 at 10:30 am and friends are welcome at that service.
