1931-2006 – The family announces with sorrow her death at Au Château, Home for the Aged, on Thursday, April 6, 2006 at the age of 74 years. Daughter of the late Alexandre and the late Eveline (née Martel) Louiseize. Wife of the late Guy Bertrand (2003). Cherished mother of Linda Bettle of Ottawa and Guy Bertrand (Maureen) of Edmonton. Sadly missed and lovingly remembered by her three grandchildren and one great-grandchild Predeceased by all of her 12 brothers and sisters.
Joyce was a well known business person in the community. She owned and operated Joyce's Ceramics in Sturgeon Falls for over 25 years where she taught courses in ceramic and pottery.
A heartfelt thank you to the staff at Au Château and to Dr. Larocque, for the excellent care provided to our mother. In accordance with her wish, no viewing and no service.
