BERTRAND, Alice

It is with great sorrow that the family announces the death of their loving mother who passed away peacefully, Friday, March 2, 2007 at the age of 78. Alice (née St- Jacques) was the beloved wife of the late Armand Bertrand and loved mother of Donald (Ann), Cecile deHaas, Erven, Lily Carleton (Kevin), Edward (Kathleen), Linda Bertrand- Shannon (Dennis). She will be lovingly remembered by nine grandchildren, Barrie, Shelley, Jody, Vicki, Chris, Steven, Brittany, Chad and Kaitlyn and four great-grandchildren. Dear sister of Natalia Fleury, Paul and Rémi St- Jacques. Predeceased by her parents, Eugenie and Elias St-Jacques and several brothers and sisters.

Family and friends paid their respects at McGuinty Funeral Home, Monday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.. Funeral mass will be celebrated at Corpus Christi Church, Tuesday at 10:30 a.m. Cremation will follow at Forest Lawn Crematorium.

As expressions of sympathy, donations to Northern Cancer Research Foundation, Heart and Stroke Foundation and The Lung Association would be gratefully appreciated by the family.
