Passed away at North Bay General Hospital, Scollard Site, Friday, April 4, 2008 at the age of 77. Robert Beckett was the loved husband of Evelyn Beckett (née Whalley) and loved father of Roland (Darlene), Charles (Micheline) and Ronald (Wendy). He will be lovingly remembered by five grandchildren, Amanda, David (Gemma), Micheal, Jennifer (Matt) and David (Krystal) and three great- grandchildren, Tyson, Brooklin and Natasha. Dear brother of Orvil (Doreen) and Glen (Karol). Predeceased by one son, David Allan, his parents, Edith and Alex Beckett and two sisters, Gloria Beckett and Shirley Guilbault. Robert was a former stationary engineer employed with INCO. Family and friends may pay their respects at St. Margaret's Church in Rutherglen, Sunday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral service will be conducted at St. Margaret's Church, Monday at 2:00 p.m. Spring interment at Calvin Union Cemetery.
