At his home in Mattawa on Monday May 12, 2008 in his 77th year. Dear husband of Marie. Loving father of Robert (Monique) of North Bay, Claude (Elizabeth) of North Bay, Micheline Beckett (Charles) of Oshawa, Suzanne Martel (Alain) of Redbridge, Daniel (Lorraine) of North Bay and Cecile Beaulne-Welk (Dan) of Barrie. Predeceased by his son Michel. Sadly missed by grandchildren Jason Hill, Michel, Luc, Matthieu, Sylvie, Amanda and Sarah Beaulne, Eric and Stéphane Martel, David, Michael and Jennifer Beckett, Emiley and Kayla Welk and by 10 great grandchildren. Survived by his sisters Lucienne (Reginald Daoust) and Aline (Edward Roussi, predeceased) and brothers Omer (Lise), Laurent (France), Albert (Anna), Armand (Jeannette), Aimé (Juliette) and David (Jeannine). Predeceased by his parents Leonard and Marie-Anne and by his sisters Yvette (Allan Haggie, also predeceased) and Cecile. Friends may call at the Martyn & Sloan ‘Mattawa Chapel' on Wednesday from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. The funeral mass will be held at St. Anne's Church on Thursday at 11 am.
