In loving memory of “Bernie“ Bernard Beaudry 77 years of Sudbury, who passed away after a courageous battle with cancer on Saturday, May 3rd, 2008 at the SRH Laurentian Site with his loving family at his side. Born in Verner and married Alice (Dominique) in Sudbury in Ste Anne's Church. Bernie grew up in Sturgeon Falls. A working man he had been a miner at INCO retiring in 1991 with 40 years service. In his younger years he was an avid outdoorsman enjoying fishing and gardening. A Roman Catholic he was devoted to his loving family. Bernie will be remembered for his generosity, wisdom and positive perspective about life. He inspired all who met him with his smile, good humour and willingness to help others. A special thanks to the doctors and nurses of the 4th Floor Oncology Unit and Laurentian Site. Beloved husband of Alice (Dominique) Beaudry of Sudbury. Loving mother of Sue Ryan (husband Rob) of Toronto and Bernard predeceased. Cherish grandfather of Ashleigh and Alanna. Dear son of Andre and Alexina (Poitras) Beaudry predeceased. Dear brother of Leon Beaudry (wife Rose May) both predeceased, Gabriel predeceased, Leo Paul predeceased (wife Gisele of Sudbury), Lucille Morin (husband Albert) both predeceased, Florian predeceased (wife Marie Anne Zabos), Aurelien (wife Georgette) of Sturgeon Falls, sister Blanch Jalbert, Dolores Jalbert, Irene (husband Armandine) Jalbert, Eloi Jalbert, Florina (Jalbert) Beaudry, Denis Jalbert and Hector Jalbert. Resting at the JACKSON & BARNARD FUNERAL HOME, 233 Larch St. Sudbury. Funeral Mass in Holy Redeemer Church 1887 Bancroft Dr. Sudbury, Friday, May 9th, 2008 at 10 am. Prayers 7:30 p.m. Thursday. Cremation with interment in the Civic Cemetery. Donations to the 4th Floor Oncology Unit, Laurentian Site would be appreciated. (Friends may call 2-5; 7-9 pm Thursday).
