BEATTY, John “Jack“ McCracken

Jack died peacefully at Eastholme, Powassan on Sunday, February 11, 2007 in his 91st year. He was predeceased by his wife, Phyllis Jessie (Reddaway) (1902 - 1990). Jack was the beloved father of Blair Beatty (the late Dianne) of Powassan and the late Gail Beatty. Loving grandfather of Christopher of Montreal and John of Medicine Hat, Alberta. Jack was the dear brother of Margaret Urquhart of Toronto, and Bernice Hardy of Barrie and was predeceased by siblings Marjorie, Janet, Helen, brothers Thomas, Hugh, Grant and Dean.



The Beatty family will receive visitors at the PAUL FUNERAL HOME, Powassan on Tuesday from 7 to 9 pm. Funeral service will be conducted by Pastor David Johnston in the Powassan Wesleyan Church on Wednesday at 11:00 a.m. Spring interment Powassan Union Cemetery. If desired, memorial donations in lieu of flowers may be made to the Powassan Food Bank of the charity of your choice.
