Eleanore Beatty (nee Barber) died peacefully, at Lady Isabelle Nursing Home, Trout Creek on Sunday, September 7, 2008 in her 79th year. She was the beloved wife of Jim Beatty of Carr and mother of Burton Beatty (Pam) of Carr and Julia Beatty (Brian Roberts) of Restoule. Grandma will be forever loved by her grandchildren Billy James (B.J.) Smith (Kim), Lee Ann Humphrey (Kevin), Nicole Beatty (Kerry Siple), Tobey Henstridge (Jason), Robert Robitaille (Tina Chadbourne), Crystal Robitaille (Denis Lefebvre) and great- grandchildren Cameron, Cory & Kyla Humphrey, Bradly Smith and Jaelan Henstridge. Eleanore was predeceased by her parents Hazel (Clarke) and Donald Barber. She was the dear sister of the late Adrian “Addie“ Barber (Ruth of South River), Stella Church (late Leonard) of Mattawa, the late Orval Barber (Phyllis of Nipissing), the late Beth Cross (Lloyd) of Callander, Clarke Barber (Mae) of Hotham, Jim Barber (Helen) of Callander, Brenda Stillar (Ev) of Powassan, Donna Saunders (late Bill) of Powassan and Frank Barber of Hotham. The Beatty family will receive visitors at the PAUL FUNERAL HOME, Powassan on Wednesday, September 10, 2008 from 2:00 to 4:00 and 7:00 to 9:00 pm. Funeral Service will be held in the funeral home chapel on Thursday, September 11 at 11:00 am. Interment will take place at Nipissing Cemetery.
