A former resident of North Bay, Patty passed away on March 6, 2004, after a very courageous battle with a degenerative brain disease. Patty will be extremely missed by her husband and best friend John. Beloved Mom to Suzanne and Erik (Cathy) and loving Mama to three cherished grandsons, Leif, Alec and Duncan. Dear sister to Barbara (Frank), aunt to Kathleen (Bryan) and Maureen (Brian) and daughter-in-law to Elsie Beaton of North Bay. Patty was a remarkable woman kind, generous, loving and totally devoted to her family. Patty's greatest pleasures were being surrounded by family and friends; traveling, working in her gardens and spending time at the cottage on Trout Lake. She will be sorely missed by all those who loved her. The family will receive friends at the Henry Walser Funeral Home, 507 Frederick Street, Kitchener, on Thursday, March 11 from 5 to 8 p.m. A private Service for her immediate family will follow.
