BATTISTON, Lee A (Sr)

Passed away peacefully at Oakville Trafalgar Memorial, May 16, 2006, due to complications from Kidney Disease, at age 84. He is survived by and lovingly remembered by his sons, Ronald (wife Constance), Raymond (wife Marion), Lee Jr. (wife Debbie); grandchildren, Eric, Andrew, David, Jennifer, Kipp and Miranda; Great-grandchildren, Tyson and Connor. Also survived by his brother Dennis (Benny) and sister Delia (Del). Lee was predeceased by his beloved wife Daisy, his brothers, Louis and Roly, and sister Vilma. His parents were Evaristo and Elisa Battiston. Lee was born in Fort William, Ontario (now Thunder Bay) and was a long time North Bay resident. A retired Master Parts Manager with a local North Bay GM dealer, he resided in Oakville for the past four years. Respecting Dad's wishes, there will be no service or funeral. A private family memorial will be held at a later date. Cremation was entrusted by Oakview Funeral Home in Oakville. Special thanks for Dad's exceptional care from Sunrise Assisted Living, Oakville, Doctors and nursing staff at the dialysis unit at Oakville Trafalgar Memorial, and Dad's personal nurse, Alma Romero. To honour Lee, donations to the Kidney Foundation of Canada would be appreciated by the family.
