BATES, Shirley Ann (née Jones)

1943 – 2008. The family announces with sorrow her death at the North Bay General Hospital, on Wednesday, January 30, 2008 at the age of 64 years. Loving daughter of Maxime (McCain) Jones of London, ON and of the late Melvin Jones. Wife of the late Georges Bates. Mother of Bonita (Harold Newman) of North Augusta, Chris (Brenda Meagher) and Percy (Stacey Edwards) both of Ottawa and Thomas (Aimee) of Renfrew. Sadly missed and lovingly remembered by her seven grandchildren and one great- grandchild. Dear sister of Thomas Jones (Nicole St Amour) of Cache Bay and Marilyn Coats of Chatham. Predeceased by her brother Bob and her sister, Linda Jones.



The family will receive friends at THEORET BOURGEOIS FUNERAL HOME, Sturgeon Falls, on Tuesday, February 5, 2008 from 9 am. untill 10:45 am. Mass of Christian Burial to be held Tuesday at 11 am, in Sacré Coeur Church, Sturgeon Falls. Donations to the Heart & Stroke Foundation or the Canadian Diabetes Association would be appreciated.
