BASS, Shirley Mae

Passed away peacefully at the North Bay General Hospital on Sunday January 6th, 2008 in her 74th year. Beloved wife of Peter. Dear mother of Jane Belhumeur (Jeff) of Huntsville and Julie of North Bay. Loving daughter of Mae Blom of Stratford. Shirley will be sadly missed by her grandchildren Grant, Garnet, Scott, Kirk, Brock and Troy. Also survived by her sister Marjorie Wittig of Stratford. Predeceased by her father Peter Blom. Shirley was a founding member of the Nordic Ski Club, founder of the Happy Face Volunteers at Cassellholme and active member of Calvin Presbyterian Church.



Family will be receiving friends for a memorial visitation at HILLSIDE FUNERAL SERVICES, 362 Airport Rd, on Wednesday January 9th, 2008 from 2 until 4 and 7 until 9 pm. A memorial service will be held at Calvin Presbyterian Church on Thursday January 10th at 11 am. Donations in memory of Shirley to the Calvin Presbyterian Church will be gratefully acknowledged by her family.
