Bartraw was the beloved husband of Joan (Woito-Sorjyen) of Powassan and was predeceased by his first wife Helen A. (MacGillivray) (1922-1999). He was the much loved father of Marilyn Charest (Jean-Yves) of Courtice, Jack Bartraw (Carol) of Powassan, June Logue (Arnold) of Masson, Quebec, Debbie Ouellette (Dennis) of Powassan and Beverley Dumais (Rene) of Laval, Quebec and grandfather of eight. Emerson was the dear brother of Sheila White of Powassan and was predeceased by his siblings Isabel Warner, Elwood Bartraw and Verena Eckford. The Bartraw family will receive visitors at the Paul Funeral Home, Powassan on Friday, February 15, 2013 from 2:00 to 4:00 and 7:00 to 9:00 pm. A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, February 16, at 11:00 am at the Powassan Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses. Spring Interment Jehovah’s Witnesses Cemetery.
