BARTRAW, Elwood Alexander

On Sunday, October 30, 2005 Elwood Bartraw died peacefully at Eastholme, Powassan in his 91st year. Son of the late William and Mabel (Duncan), Elwood was predeceased by his wife Evelyn Vivian (Campbell) (1912-1987). He was the loving father of Lois Joron (Hector) of Callander, Bill Bartraw (Carol), Jim Bartraw (Sharon) and Sharon (Frank Smith). He was the dear brother of Verena Eckford, North Bay, Sheila White and Emerson Bartraw of Powassan and was predeceased by his sister Isabel Warner. Elwood will be sadly missed by 12 grandchildren and 21 great-grandchildren, and five great-great-grandchildren. The family will receive visitors at the Paul Funeral Home on Wednesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm and Thursday from 10 to 11 and the funeral service will be conducted in the funeral home at 11 am on Thursday with interment to follow in Powassan Union Cemetery.
