At North Bay General Hospital-Scollard Site on Sunday May 28, 2006 at the age of 54 years. Beloved husband of Lynda (nee Hill). Dear father of Christine Barton of North Bay. Also survived by his brothers Tom (Linda), Richard (Serry), Jimmy (Diane) and a sister Susan (Barry). Predeceased by his parents Robert and Doris Barton and a sister Diane. Robert will be fondly remembered and sadly missed by his northern family of friends.
Family receiving friends at HILLSIDE FUNERAL SERVICES, 362 Airport Rd., on Wednesday May 31 from 2 until 4 and 7 until 9 p.m. Funeral service Thursday June 1 at the funeral home at 11 am. Donations to the Ontario Heart and Stroke foundation in memory of Robert will be gratefully acknowledged by his family.
