BARRETT (nee Letts): “Betty” Elizabeth Doris

Nov. 24 1927 – July 26, 2013.
The family announces with sorrow the passing of Betty. Beloved wife of Chuck for 61 years. Loving mother of Debbie Campbell (Ken) and Nancy Pitre (Denis). Lovingly remembered Grandma of Michael Campbell (Melissa), Kaley Tastula (Adam) and Briana Pitre. Great Grandma to Jackson Campbell and Emmitt Tastula. Sister of Russ Letts (Edie), Dale Letts (Gayle) and sister-in-law to Bill Lamb and Ron Barrett (Helen), and will be remembered by many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her parents Bob and Rena Letts, loving sister Lillian Lamb, brother Gary Letts (Jean) and sister-in-law Jean Lachine (Bob). Betty had a heart of gold and loved her family very much. The family will be receiving friends on Tuesday, July 30th from 2-4pm & 7-9pm. A Memorial Service will be held on Wednesday, July 31, at 11:00 am at St. Andrew’s United Church. Many thanks and appreciation to Dr. Brian Shaw, Dr. Ryan Freistatter, Dr. Saunders, Dr. Singh, Dr. Preston, the wonderful nurses in the CCU and D3, Reverend Richard Smith and Reverend Jane Howe for their kind words and the excellent staff at Nipissing Manor. In lieu of flowers, donations made to St. Andrew’s United Church or the North Bay Regional Health Centre Foundation will be gratefully acknowledged by the family.
