BARBER, Constance Irene “Connie” (nee Jamieson)

Surrounded by the love of her family, Connie Barber passed away peacefully, at North Bay Regional Health Centre, on Monday, February 20, 2017. She was in her 75th year. Connie was the loving and devoted wife of Barclay Barber of North Bay and cherished mother of Dan Barber (Lianne) of Guelph, Jane Costello of North Bay and Joanne Dias (Rick) of Brampton. She was predeceased by her parents Harvey and Jean Jamieson, and her children Steven and Susan. Grandma will be lovingly remembered by Jacklyn and Laura Barber, Jamie and Michael Costello, Taylor and Madison Dias. Connie was the dear sister of Carol, Gil, Terry and Tracy. A Celebration of Life will be held at the Powassan United Church on Saturday, March 4, 2017 at 1 pm. Connie was a lifelong teacher of children; she loved to help them learn and watch them grow.
