BARBE, Girard (Eddy)

Passed away peacefully at his residence on Monday May 14th, 2018 at the age of 90 years. Predeceased by his beloved wife of 59 years Beatrice Barbe (nee Lefebvre). Loving father of Gilles (Holly Setchell), Denyse (Jim Bastien), Gisele and Yvon (Linda Legault). He will be sadly missed be his grandchildren Lisa Copping, Francois Barbe, Julie Barbe-Walker and great grandchildren Liam & Connor Copping. Lovingly remembered by his sister Rhea Trudel and niece Gaetane Trudel. Family receiving friends at HILLSIDE FUNERAL SERVICES, 362 Airport Rd., on Friday May 18th, 2018 from 2 pm until 3 pm. A celebration of his life will follow at 3 pm at the funeral home. Donations to the Canadian Diabetes Association in memory of Girard will be gratefully acknowledged by his family.
