1924- 2008 - The family announces with sorrow his peaceful death, surrounded by his wife and children, at home Tuesday evening March 25 2008, at the age of 83 years. Son of the late Josephat and of the late Marie Louise (née Forget) Aubin. Most precious husband of Irène Aubin (née Major) of Sturgeon Falls. Loving father of Colette Risewick (late Larry) and Richard (Linda) both of Timmins, Alice Lacroix (Gerry) of Niagara Falls, Monique Aubin Gagné (Donald) of Ramore, Lise Arsenau (Paul) and Viviane Régimbald (Daniel) both of Sudbury. Dear brother of Simone Noel (late Lionel), Rene and Fernand (Rose Anne) all of Sturgeon Falls, Aline Jackson (Gordon) of Field, Jeannette Moncion (Richard) of Val Caron, Thérèse Larocque (Earl) and Henri (Léonne) both of Azilda. Predeceased by his brothers Armand, Jean Baptiste, Simon and by his sisters Germaine and Lucienne. Sadly missed and lovingly remembered by his 15 grandchildren and by his 18 great grandchildren. Raymond was retired after a rewarding career in Real Estate in the Timmins area with Lawson Realty, then as a miner in the Sudbury area with Inco. A devout Roman Catholic, Raymond was ordained as a permanent deacon in the diocese of Timmins May 7 1983 by Bishop Jacques Landriault. He dedicated the last 20 years of his ministry serving Paroisse La Résurrection, Sturgeon Falls. Raymond and his spouse Irene were the coordinators of the Témoignage Jeunesse Youth Rallies in the Diocese of Timmins. A proud member of the Knights of Columbus, deacon Raymond lived the true values of a catholic gentleman and embodied the virtues of unity, charity, fraternity and patriotism. The family will receive friends at THEORET BOURGEOIS FUNERAL HOME, Sturgeon Falls, Thursday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be held Friday March 28, 2008 at 11 a.m. in La Résurrection Church, Sturgeon Falls. Donations to the Hospital for Sick Children, Toronto, would be appreciated.
