Passed away at North Bay General Hospital, Scollard Site, Sunday, August 31, 2008 at the age of 70. Bernard Atkinson was the beloved husband of Rollanda (née Robidoux) and dearly loved father of Joanne Doughty (Glen), Cindy Turner (Scott) both of Jarvis, Kim Atkinson of Toronto and Kelly Wass of Hagersville Bernard was the dear step- father to Garry Supak (Kathy) of Dokis, Gerry Supak (Bonnie Baglole) of North Bay and Randy Supak (Lilliane) of Sault Ste. Marie. He will be lovingly remembered by 8 grandchildren and 1 great-grandchild. Dear brother of Roy (Nancy), Betty Banfield (Keith), Ross (Lina), Harold (Eleanor), Larry (Yvonne) and Stanley Atkinson. Predeceased by his parents, Hilda and Clifford Atkinson, brothers, Gordon, Don and Ray Atkinson and a sister, Joyce Burke. No visitation or service. Cremation at Forest Lawn Crematorium. Interment of ashes in the family plot in Cayuga, Ontario. Funeral arrangements under the direction of the MCGUINTY FUNERAL HOME.
