We are saddened to announce the loss of our mother Diane Arsenault (nee Decaire) on Friday January 26, 2024 at the North Bay Regional Health Centre at the age of 79.
Predeceased by her loving husband Roger Arsenault. Caring mother of Natalie Brown (James) of Ingersoll and Richard Arts (Donna) of Barrie. Proud Nana of Tara Diane Babcock (Maurice), Jenessa Babcock, Tayler Thornhill (Kyle), and Renee Arts (Brandon) as well as her great-grandson Archer Thornhill.
Diane and Roger were proud community members and previous owners of The Ram’s Head Restaurant in Callander. Diane had an innate ability to express her emotions through her beautiful watercolour artwork, which she proudly showcased in the restaurant as well as the fortunate few who have her paintings displayed in their homes.
As per her wishes cremation has taken place and a private celebration of her life will be held at a later date.
A heartfelt thank you to the devoted staff at Cassellholme for their attentive care towards our mother during her stay as well as the amazing staff at the NBRHC.
