January 26th 1950 - June 21st 2008 - The family announces with sorrow his sudden but peaceful death in his sleep at a fishing lodge on the French River, Saturday June 21st, 2008, at the age of 58 years. Son of the late George Aro. Loving son of Sylvia Aro (née Koski) of Chemainus, B.C. Loving father of Kristin Tucker (Matt) of Nipissing, Justin (Ashley) of Powassan and Davis Larocque of North Bay. Dear brother of Diane Blackstock (Derek) of Richmond, B.C., Donald (Suzi) of Burlington and Leo (Roseanne) of Sault Ste. Marie. Also survived by his aunt Anne Aro of Timmins and by his four nephews, two nieces and seven cousins. Sadly missed and lovingly remembered by his two granddaughters, Riley and Jamey and their Grandmother Pat Aro of Powassan. David was a graduate of Northern College in Sault Ste. Marie in Geology Technology and worked for many years at INCO. In recent years he resided in Sturgeon Falls, guiding fisherman on lake Nipissing and the French River. He was an active member of the Royal Canadian Legion branch in Sturgeon Falls. His greatest passion was his love for the outdoors. The family will receive friends for a memorial visitation at THÉORET BOURGEOIS FUNERAL HOME, Sturgeon Falls, Thursday, June 26th, from 7 till 9 p.m. A celebration of David's life will be held Friday at 11 a.m. in the funeral home chapel.
