Passed away peacefully at the North Bay Regional Health Center on Friday May 29th, 2015. Tom was the beloved husband of the late Evelyn Shepherd. He was 87 years old. Loving father of Adrienne and her husband David Elgie of Red Lake, Ontario. He will be lovingly remembered by his granddaughter Kathleen Elgie of Grande Cache, Alberta. Dearly loved brother of Jack, Frank, Angus, and Ann. Tom loved all his family and friends and will be remembered by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, as well as friends. He was predeceased by his parents Guy and Gertrude Armstrong and by his siblings Jean, Bill, and Donald. Tom worked for Ontario Hydro as a professional engineer for many years. He loved the outdoors and spent many long hours enjoying nature. Respecting Tom's wishes there will be a memorial service at 10:00 a.m. , June 16th at St. Brice's Anglican Church after Cremation has taken place.
