Annette Smith (Girard) (née Desgroseilliers)

Passed away at North Bay, ON on Wednesday Feb 27, 2013. Born May 18, 1925 in Moonbeam, ON.Annette was the beloved wife of the late Joseph Girard and late Norman Smith. Loving mother of Denis (Lise) Girard, Gisèle (Raymond) Barrette, Lionel (D) (Thérèse) Girard, Régent (Diane) Girard, Michelle Girard and Daniel (Mary) Girard. Step-mother of David Smith (D), Diane (Rick) Hogan, Dorothy Weitzenbauer and Barbara (Ron) Ingram. She will be lovingly remembered by 16 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren.
Dear sister of Raymond (Huguette) Desgroseilliers, sister-in-law to Denise and Thérèse Desgroseilliers. She was pre-deceased by her parents Omer and Claire (Guénette) Desgroseilliers, and siblings: Aurore, Lucien, Lionel, Mariette, Régent and Roger. A funeral service will be held in the spring in Kapuskasing. As expressions of sympathy, donations to the Heart & Stroke Foundation would be appreciated by the family.
