AMELL, Howard John Joseph

Howard Amell died with his family by his side at Sudbury Memorial Hospital, on Saturday, March 9, 2006 in his 74th year after a brief illness. Howard, of Powassan, was predeceased by his father Herman Amell and his mother Mary (Yeates) is survived by his step- mother Lillian (Jones) Amell of Trout Creek, his wife Ina (Jones) of Powassan, his children Fay Armstrong (Everett) of North Bay, Irene Gelinas (Robert) of Hamilton, Robert Amell of Trail, B.C., Kathy Svitak of Toronto, Vicky French (Darcy) of Powassan, Tammy Genier (Pat) of Calgary, and brother of the late Dianne Ruff (the late Eddy), Ann Lumsden (John) of Sudbury, Gilbert Amell (Darlene) of North Bay, Evelyn Hurrell (John) of Trout Creek, Ethel Brown (John) of Trout Creek, Shirley Labrecque (Octave) of Chisholm, Sheila Green (Jim) of Huntsville.

The family will receive visitors at the Paul Funeral Home, Powassan on Sunday, March 12, 2006 from 2:00 to 4:00 & 7:00 to 9:00 pm. The Funeral Service will be conducted in the Funeral Home Chapel on Monday at 11:00 am. Spring interment Powassan Union Cemetery.
