ALLARD, Howard Leonard William “Howie“

Passed away peacefully in his 87th year on Thursday June 1, 2006 at the North Bay General Hospital. Howie was the beloved husband of the late Bette Julia Bush, who passed away on May 11, 2006. He was predeceased by his parents and his two sisters. Howie will be lovingly remembered by his nieces Susan Wieczorek and family and Bonnie Ball and family, by his two nephews Robert and Tom Lawson and families, and by his sister-in-law Doris Lawson, along with his many close friends.

Howie served overseas with the Royal Canadian Airforce during World War 11. An active member of the North Bay Rotary Club, he was honoured to be named a Paul Harris Fellow.

Friends may call at MARTYN FUNERAL HOME on Saturday June 10th from 2-4 p.m. and on Sunday from 1-2 p.m. Funeral service will follow in the Chapel at 2 p.m. Cremation to follow with burial of ashes in Erin Cemetery on Saturday June 17th at 3 p.m. A donation to the North Bay Rotary Club would be gratefully acknowledged as expressions of sympathy.
