James David Allair passed away on March 18th at the North Bay Regional Health Centre after a brief illness.
He was married to Marie (Lariviere) for 56 years. She was the love of Jim's life and she was with him everyday until his passing.
Jim was born to John and Mary Allair (Young) on May 10th, 1947 in Burk's Falls. He was predeceased by his brother John (Margaret-surviving) and his sisters Frances (Lloyd) and Maryida (Don).
Jim is survived by his brothers Mike (Jackie) and Charlie (Dianne) and his sisters Marguerite (Evan) and Kathy (Doug). Jim is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Jim was a proud and caring father and grandfather. His family could always count on him. His daughters Tammie (Rene l'Ami) and Cindy (Bob l'Ami) loved him so very much. He is survived by his son James David Jr. (Joanne Farmer). Jim's adult kids are thankful beyond words for everything he did for them over the years.
Jim's grandkids were a great source of joy for him. He is survived and missed by Jacob (Gina), Adam (Kaitlyn), Cassie (Eddie), Robynne (Cole), Rowan and Morgan.
Jim had a long successful career in the field of Surveying. He had extensive knowledge and expertise in his field and was always willing to teach and share what he knew with others. We all learned something interesting from Jim. He was a very conscientious and kind man who will be remembered and missed by many.
As per Jim's wishes, cremation has taken place and there will be no service at this time.
