Peacefully at Eastholme, Powassan, on Thursday March 24th, 2011 while in her 89th year. Born February 2, 1923 in Shubenacadie, Nova Scotia, Alberta was the dear daughter of the late Chalmers and Mary Withrow. She was predeceased by her husband Robert Adams, her brother George and her sister Helen Gillis, and will be lovingly remembered by her sisters Anne Withrow of Sarnia, and Grace Vokey of Georgetown, and brothers Angus Withrow and Donald Gillis, both of Nova Scotia, and her many nieces and nephews. A dedicated and faithful member of Calvary Pentecostal Temple, Alberta will be sadly missed by her many friends and family there. She will be fondly remembered and sadly missed by Rev Dale & Mrs. Gayle Broadworth, and their children Sarah and Daryl, and Kimberly Cobb and her children Jennifer, Brent, Heather and Kendall. Visitation will be held at Calvary Pentecostal Temple, 271 Ski Club Road, on Saturday from 2 – 4 & 7 – 9 pm. Funeral services to celebrate her life will be held in Calvary Temple on Sunday March 27th at 2:00pm. Spring interment will be in Temiscaming Quebec. If desired donations in memory of Alberta to Calvary Pentecostal Temple will be gratefully acknowledged as expressions of sympathy.
