Passed away on February 24th, 2011 at the Mattawa Hospital in his 77th year. Beloved husband of Martha (nee Nadon). Cherished father of Frances Minor (Mike Gliebe) and Hellen Minor (Claude Huard) all of Garson. Proud grandfather of Jessica Huard (John Young) of Lucan and Madison Huard of Garson. He is survived by his sibling Maxime (Jean), Neldo (Georgette) all of Mattawa, Lionel (Rollande), Roger (Aurianna) all of North Bay, Evelyn Belanger (Roger) of Mattawa, Madeleine Nadeau (Normand predeceased) of Ottawa, Amanda Viel (O’Neil) of Mattawa and June Nadeau (Reynald) of Montreal. Punch is predeceased by his parents Edward and Delina Minor and brother Jerome (Anna) Minor. Sadly missed by nieces, nephews and many friends. Family will receive friends at the MARTYN & SLOAN “Mattawa Chapel” on Monday, February 28th, 2011 from 7:00- 9:00 p.m. Funeral service at St. Anne’s Church on Tuesday, March 1st, 2011 at 11:00 a.m. Cremation will follow the funeral service at Forest Lawn Crematorium. If desired, donation to the Northern Cancer Research would be gratefully acknowledged as expressions of sympathy.
