ACKROYD, Raymond Arthur

Passed away on Wednesday, March 9, 2005 at the North Bay General Hospital while in his 88th year. Survived by his wife of 62 years, Lenna Ackroyd (Proctor). Dear father of Arlene Dool (Ron) of Port Coquitlam, British Columbia, Ron Ackroyd (Betty) of London, Alan Ackroyd (Shelley) of North Bay and Roslyn Lima of Bermuda. He will be missed by his nine grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Friends may call at the Martyn Funeral Home (across from City Hall) this afternoon from 2 to 4 p.m. Funeral services will be held in the funeral home chapel this evening at 7 p.m. Cremation to follow. If desired, donations to the Calvin Presbyterian Church Building Fund will be gratefully acknowledged as expressions of sympathy.
