We have lost 6000 taxpayers, nurses, teachers, neighbours. We have no plan to bring North Bay from 197th in Canada in places your able to live in, to the top 100 even 75! We have a good rating for the retired but we have to look to our youth and keep them here, We need an economy where our kids can thrive in. Who in this town is retired and wants to pay more taxes net year on your fixed income? NO ONE!!!! We need to change our focus to JOBS!! We are going to go to Space X, Blue Origin and virgin Galactic and get them here. We have an air force base designed to launch rockets, that’s got to put us on top of a very small list for their expansion!
Everybody wants an Air Show while I have an air show. I have been talking to Red Bull Air racing to bring them to North Bay and use our 10,000 Ft runway and our Famous NORAD Base.
I am going in all in with the University and College. We are going to put the double pad up there, the land will be free, have better contractors that beat our quotes by 21MIL. So when we give the contract of the arena to the University, They will start on bringing a State of the art campus to the ferris area. This will create great jobs in Ferris. I am going to sell the Capitol Centre to the University and College (just like UOIT) this will bring many students into our downtown. I also want to rent half of our library to the University and College, the library cost the tax payers 3.7 Million a year, Lets team up with the University and College. The real College and University!
We’re going to talk to Tesla and give them free land to build a solar or car or battery factory.
We will make vertical farms and employ city works so they have a good wage and benefits. This will be done with the university.
We have smart people working for North Bay that are more then capable of putting together amazing proposals, and under my leadership We will land major companies, We will have jobs for our kids, we all will have money in the bank for whatever we want. We just need change!
