The YMCA Strong Kids Campaign is supporting the Children's Aid Society by sponsoring 100 YMCA Family Memberships, a donation valued at $38,500.

Families who otherwise would not be able to access programs and services at the Y, due to their financial circumstances, will benefit from this partnership.

“We are thrilled and want to thank the Health Unit and the YMCA for giving 100 families in our community the opportunity to access YMCA activities and programming that will promote the importance of physical and social experiences,” says. Gisèle Hébert, Executive Director for the Children’s Aid Society of the District of Nipissing and Parry Sound.

The YMCA Strong Kids campaign helps people of all ages by providing access and financial assistance to participate in YMCA programs and services.

Last year, the YMCA of Northeastern Ontario provided $397,000 in financial assistance and helped families in need.
