Women Helping Women Spring Tea & Dessert Fundraiser

The CWL of the Pro-Cathedral hosted the second Women Helping Women Spring Tea & Dessert Fundraiser. Three local women’s shelters that will benefit from the monies raised include: The Ojibway Women’s Lodge, Nipissing Transition House and Amelia Rising Sexual Assault Centre of Nipissing.

On Saturday, May 13th, 2017, the CWL of the Pro-Cathedral hosted the second Women Helping Women Spring Tea & Dessert Fundraiser. Three local women’s shelters that will benefit from the monies raised include: The Ojibway Women’s Lodge, Nipissing Transition House and Amelia Rising Sexual Assault Centre of Nipissing.

The national CWL theme for this year is “Inspired by the Spirit and Responding to God’s Call”, which came to life as members of the CWL served homemade delicious desserts and tea to members of the North Bay community who came out to support this worthwhile cause.

Annette Dutrisac, organizer, stated, “I am blessed to be surrounded by generous, dedicated and hard working women whose efforts helped women in our community that are in crisis.”

The CWL is a national organization rooted in gospel values calling its members to holiness thorugh servide to the people of God.
