Students from Widdifield Secondary School will be collecting food for the North Bay Food Bank as part of their annual fall food drive.
On Wednesday, October 21st, students will be canvassing O'Brien Street, the Bypass, Ski Club Road, and most of Airport Hill.
The annual fall food drive always helps give our shelves at the food bank a boost as we continue into the season of giving.
October’s Food of the Month is baby food, pablum, large sized diapers and wipes; however the food bank welcomes all non-perishable food items as donations.
The North Bay Food Bank is available to take food and monetary donations year round. The food bank is located at 1016 Fisher Street in North Bay and is open to serve clients Mondays and Fridays from 9:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m., and Wednesdays from 4:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. For more information, call the North Bay Food Bank at 705-495-3290.
