News release: North Bay, ON – The Rotary Club of Nipissing will be hosting Prof. Peter Loewen as he speaks on the topics of Who will win the election? And what will happen afterwards?  Prof. Loewen will share insights from the Local Parliament Project, which is currently studying the views of voters in this election. The Project is the largest ever study of Canadian public opinion.

Prof. Loewen is associate professor of political science at the University of Toronto and Director of the Centre for the Study of the United States at Munk School of Global Affairs.  He is an expert in measuring public opinion and political behavior and writes regularly for the Ottawa Citizen.  He presents his research in intriguing and accessible ways. He regularly presents his research across Canada and around the world and travels across Canada and globally. 

Prof. Loewen is originally from North Bay and is an ideal person to address our community ahead of the upcoming Federal Election.  There will be an opportunity to ask questions after his presentation.

There is no admission fee for this event.  However donations to The Rotary Foundation PolioPlus initiative would be appreciated.
